Our little Jacob Edward Ruben, age 7, died Thursday, February 7, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada after battling a genetic disease called Niemann Pick Type C. He was born March 2, 2011 in Las Vegas to Jacob William and Tiffany Lyn Huntsman Ruben. Jacob loved being with his family. He loved sports.

His favorite team was the Dodgers. Jacob loved music. His favorites were the Disney songs, Primary/church songs, and any song his mother sang to him.

He always had a nice, big smile. He was an inspiration to all those who supported him during his life. Survivors include his loving parents, Jacob and Tiffany; younger siblings, Katelyn, Mason and Logan; grandparents: Mark & Laurie Ruben; Richard & Alice Huntsman, all of Las Vegas, NV; great grandparents: Connie Ruben of Murray, UT; Ray & Ann Wood of St. George, UT; Duane & Marie Wilke of Cedar City, UT and Bonnie Andersen of Las Vegas, NV.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Mountain Crest Ward, 3300 N. Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Boulder City Municipal Cemetery.
