Jacob Lee Zabriskie (Jake) was born on June 1st, 1979 in Murray, Utah to parents Debbie and Paul Zabriskie. He passed away on September 5th, 2018 in Murray. Jake and Nancy were married July 10, 2006 in Las Vegas Nevada.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy and children Sarina and Zak. He also leaves behind his mother Debbie Kendall (Kenny), West Jordan and father Paul Zabriskie (Wendy) Sandy, and his brothers Scott Naillon (Lisa) Colorado Springs, CO, and Darin Zabriskie(Carla) North Bend, WA. He is survived by his grandma June Clyde and Nancy’s grandmother Jennie Jacobs.

Jake is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nephews, and nieces. He was preceded in death by grandparents Bob and Belva Naillon, Grandfather Dee Lloyd, grandparents Harry and Lione Zabriskie. Jake was also preceded in death by a stepsister Kinsie.

Jacob spent his early years in Utah until he moved to California with his mother when he was 6 years old. He spent his childhood in California and moved back to Utah when he was seventeen. Jake attended Murray High School and graduated in 1997.

Jake took advantage of his aptitude in electronics and technology to secure a job after high school in the cable TV industry. He spent the majority of his career in this industry, eventually working for Xfinity/Comcast. Jake was passionate about many things in his life.

He developed an early love for music and was an ardent fan of Bob Marley and especially Ozzy Osbourne. Jake would arrange his vacation schedule so he could attend the closest OZZfest. He also loved attending raves at Salt Air, and enjoyed expressing himself in the mosh pit.

Jake also loved skateboards and dirt bikes in his early years and developed a love of rare prime rib and Patron Tequila. Jake was also happy tinkering in the garage on his latest invention. Most of all Jake loved spending time with his children Zak and Sarina.

They, in turn, adored their dad and are devastated by his loss. Funeral services will be held for Jacob Zabriskie on Thursday, September 13th, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the LDS chapel located at 6592 Haven Maple Drive, West Jordan, UT 84081. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM immediately prior to the funeral service.
