On Saturday, November 24, 2018 of New Carrollton, MD, formerly of Washington, DC. Beloved wife of 45 years to Denver “Sandy” Paul Sanders. Loving mother of Deborah C. (Wayne) Melton, Nicholas James Coman, Kenneth Dale Coman, Kimberly Lynn (Scott) Brierley, and Eileen (EJ) Gardner.

Cherished grandmother of 15; great-grandmother of 12. Adored sister of Caral Maxine (Butch) Bishop, and the late Barbara, Audrey, Joseph, and Allie. She lived to volunteer and she volunteered at Doctors Community Hospital for over 25 years.

She owned several small businesses and contributed to countless charities with her money and her talents. She was an avid crocheter, a poet, and was very active in the Trinity Moravian Church. She was well known far and wide in the area and was loved by everyone who knew her.

Friends may call at Gasch’s Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Thursday, November 29 from 4 PM until service time at 6 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Jacquelyn Sanders Foundation, 6304 85th Place, New Carrollton, MD 20784.
