I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course; I have kept the faith”. 2 Timothy 4:6 Ms. Jameisha Patrice Artis was born in Florence County on February 9, 1988, a daughter of Donna L. Artis and Robert Dingle.

She transitioned to Glory after a short illness on October 1, 2018 at McLeod Hospice House. “Meisha,” as she was affectionately called, was educated in the public schools of Florence SC, a member of Wilson High School Class of 2006. She was employed in the restaurant industry until her health declined.

She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, family member and friend. She was soft spoken. lovable, kind-hearted and faithful.

She had an unwavering faith in God and she never lost her praise. She will be missed by all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memories in addition to her parents are: her six children, Jalik Jefferson, Amari Artis, Jakari Artis, Ismael Mcallister, Immanuel McAlliveen, Tytiyana McAlliveen; one brother, Desmond Artis; one sister, Jassma(Andre) Bradley; grandmother, Patricia Law; great grandmother, Gladys C. Law; three aunts, Denise(Troy) Roary, Tonya Law, Stephanie(Tony) White; two uncles, William(Melissa)Fulmore, Billy Law; grandmother, Patricia Law; great grandmother, Gladys C. Law; seven great aunts, Lollie Jackson, Denise Law; Hattie McDaniel; Debra(Harry) Hall; Gladys(Kenneth)Hicks, Rev.

Law; four great uncles Mannie Law, Jimmy(Helen) Law, Kenneth Law, and Frederick Law; three great great aunts, Mary Alexander, Hattie Mae Williamson, and Edith (Robert) Faison; step father, Ronnie(Tonya) Artis; special friend, Harry Lee Jefferson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
