Obituary for James A. Kindler James “Jamie” Allen Kindler Age 56, of O’hara Township, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from a long battle with cancer. Born October 4, 1961 in New Orleans, LA, later moved to O’hara Township where he grew up as a child and spent most of his adult life. Jamie was a free spirited, kindhearted, nature loving man with a gentle soul.

He spent a good portion of his life helping others through his work at NAMI Keystone, a non profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, adolescents, adults and families effected by mental illness. Jamie also had a passion for nature, camping, hiking and traveling. He truly appreciated all that mother nature had to offer and took advantage of it every chance he got.

It was in those moments spent outdoors and with nature that Jamie felt most alive and at peace within himself. Jamie was also a loving, caring son, brother, uncle and friend. James is survived by his mother, Patricia Kindler; brother, John Kindler; nephew, Adam Kindler; nieces, Kelly South and Angela Glew; and an amazing group of friends.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Joseph Kindler; brother, Keith Kindler; and nephew, Jason Kindler. “We were born to die and we die to live. As seedlings of God, we barely blossom on Earth; we fully blossom in heaven”.
