OBITUARY JAMES ALLEN FRASER September 24, 1930 – September 1, 2018 James Allen Fraser, Sr. “Big Jim”, 87, of Cross Lanes, WV departed this life on September 1, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born on Sept. 24, 1930 to the late Louis and Francis Fraser both of Dunbar WV.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired truck driver but most of all he was a loving father, grandfather and brother to his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Jean, son James, daughter-in-law, Connie, and brother, William. His grandson, Jason, and brother, John Roy, along with their spouses and families, survive him.

Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV with Rev. Dr. C. Harold Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service. Online condolences can be sent to the family by visiting www.
