OBITUARY James B. Bolton November 24, 1929 – October 24, 2018 James B. Bolton, age 88, of Dartmouth, passed away on October 24, 2018 at Brookdale Dartmouth Village. He was the husband of the late Worraine A. (Albee) Bolton who passed away in 1989. Born in Providence, RI, a son of the late Enoch and Jane (Bamford) Bolton, he was raised in Providence, RI, lived in Reading, MA for a few years before moving to Dartmouth.

He had received a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Rhode Island School of Design. Mr. Bolton had worked as a Plant Engineer at Rodney Metals, a Manufacturing Engineer at Chamberlain Manufacturing, a New England Purchasing Agent for Brown and Root Construction in Texas, and retired as a Field Service Technician from Hill-Rom. In younger years, he enjoyed being out on the water sailing.

Jim was an avid collector, repairer, and trader of antique clocks. His knowledge and expertise of clocks was well known in the field. He volunteered at the New Bedford Whaling Museum for several years after his retirement.

He was a Mason, an active member of Harmony Lodge in Cranston, Rhode Island. His family includes a son, Edgar J. Bolton and his wife Deborah of Newton, NH; a daughter, Jane Bolton of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Doris Casey and her husband Richard of No. Kingstown, RI; a grandson, Benjamin Bolton of Seattle, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, David and Robert Bolton. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd. , Dartmouth.
