James A. Brensinger, 65, of New Ringold, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019. He is survived by his loving companion, Janice M. Chescavage. Born on July 8, 1953, he was the son of the late Marl M., Sr., and Mary E. (Moyer) Brensinger.

James was employed by Dairy Farmers of America, Muhlenberg Twp. , for 37 years. He was an avid runner and enjoyed hunting, trapping, archery, and gardening.

Most of all, James enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his companion, James is survived by two daughters: Mandi L. (Brensinger) Clauser, Pine Grove; and Alicia R., wife of Joseph Hendricks, Colorado Springs. Two grandchildren: Kile J., husband of Betsy Clauser, Schuylkill Haven; Brendan P. Clauser, Pine Grove; a great granddaughter, Addalyn C. Clauser; a sister, Shirley E. (Brensinger) Roach, Reading; and two brothers; Neil P., husband of Paula Brensinger; and Marl J. Jr., husband of Brenda Brensinger, Tilden Twp.

, also survive him. Other survivors include his companion Janice’s daughter, Elizabeth A. Chescavage, New Ringold; and grandson, Joshua Klinger. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11:30 a.m., at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S. 4th St. Hamburg.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in James’s memory to a charity of your choice.
