James C. Hall “Jim”, retired Philadelphia Police Officer, passed away on February 9, 2019 at Abington Hospital with his family by his side. He was born and raised in Philadelphia. After his retirement from the City of Philadelphia he relocated to Bonifay, Florida and continued to work with the Bonifay Police Department until he had a stroke 3 years ago.

It was at this time that his family choose to bring him home to be with his family here in Philadelphia. Jim will be remembered as an inspirational positive person who lived his life “out loud” in the craziest ways and brought so much joy and happy memories to his family. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Sr. and Irene (nee Qualtin) Hall.

He is the loving brother of Edward Jr. (Patti) Hall, Deborah (Joseph) Borden, Denise Ficchi, Daniel (Debra) Hall, Donna (Frank) DiMarco and Diane (Joseph) Vitelli. Also, he will be sadly missed by his many adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends, especially his brothers and sisters from the Phila. Police Dept.

and the Bonifay Police Dept. Funeral services will be privately held by family. In keeping with his love of animals the family wishes memorial donations in his memory can be made to any ASPCA facility of your choosing.
