Obituary for James C. Jackson Beloved husband and father passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at McLaren Flint. Age 77 years. The son of the late James and Marceline (Jean) Jackson, James was born on August 26, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan.

He married Barbara Lazowski on October 30, 1965. She survives him. Jim served in the United States Army and was especially proud of his time in Germany.

Jim was employed at Saginaw Grey Iron for 40+ years retiring in 2002. He enjoyed golf, boating, playing euchre and scrabble, traveling, but most of all spending time with his family and feline companions. Surviving besides his wife Barbara are three children, James (Kendra) Jackson, Bridgeport; David (Lori) Jackson, Sylvania, Ohio; Jean (Doug) Rousell, Dexter, Michigan; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Marcia (Jim) Stamper, Kathleen Bruce, Anne Lazowski; several nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his brother, John Jackson. Funeral Service will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. , (between Shattuck and McCarty).

Rev. Fr. John Mancini, OSFS will officiate.

Honoring Mr. Jackson’s wishes cremation will follow. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Heart Association, American Lung Association, American Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
