James C. Mahon Sr. 2/19/1928-5/10/2019 James was born in Georgetown, SC. Where he graduated form Winyah High School. Following active duty in the U.S Navy during World War II he received his B.S at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

He retired from Aerojet General Corporation in Rancho Cordova, CA after 37 years as an aerospace engineer. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Toni, son James Jr. (Rosemary), daughter Helen Flanders (Chris), plus 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Douglas.

A memorial service will be held at Sierra View Funeral Chapel in Carmichael, Ca, on May 22, 2019 at 10:00am followed by a reception at the Veteran’s Hall in Carmichael Park. Interment in the National Military Cemetery in Dixon, CA on May 29th 2019 at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any local veteran’s charity.
