OBITUARY James Donald Latsch July 23, 1958 – October 20, 2018 Play Tribute Movie James “Peach” Latsch of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 after fighting a 22 month courageous battle with cancer. Jim was born to Donald and Dianne (Deans) Latsch on July 23, 1958. Raised in Lake Mills, WI, he attended Lake Mills High School, where he lettered in cross country.

Upon graduating in 1976, Jim joined the United States Air Force, where he was honorably discharged. Jim moved to Arizona in 1983. Jim was an adamant sports fan and exceptional athlete.

Whether he was playing, coaching or watching; Jim enjoyed all aspects of sports. He played on numerous recreational and travel leagues in both Wisconsin and Arizona. He was a little league coach; which was one of his favorite things to do, kids were his favorite kind of people.

He enjoyed playing golf, especially with his buddies. He was a long- time board member for both the DRGA and the Fifty Club. Jim could make everyone laugh, even if it was at himself.

His laughter was infectious and he lit up the lives of everyone lucky enough to have known him. Everything was a game or a competition; a game of golf, shooting a basket with the trash or catching a thrown lighter. He was a genuine and generous man, who lived life to the fullest and on his own terms.

He was one of a kind and will be truly irreplaceable. He is survived by his parents Donald and Dianne (Deans), his girl Rainie, children Nicole and Ryan, brother Steve, two sisters: Cindy (Craig) and Michelle (Theo). As well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his infant sister Marie Latsch. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 2:00pm at Dobson Ranch 2155 S. Dobson Road, Mesa, AZ 85202.
