James “Jimbo” Edwin Wiley James Edwin “Jimbo” Wiley. 85, of Warrenton, GA formerly of Chamblee, GA entered into rest March 26, 2019 at Lake Crossing Nursing Health Center. Jimbo was born in Middleton, Tennessee to the late Frank Thomas Wiley, Sr. and the late Ilee Purcell Wiley.

He lived most of his life in Chamblee, GA and retired from Frito Lay after many years of service. He was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed collecting things, including coin banks, clocks, and especially pens and pencils. In addition to his parents, Jimbo was predeceased by brothers, Billy Wiley and Frank Thomas Wiley, Jr. and sister, Johnnie Mae Cash.

Survivors include his brother, Jerry Wayne Wiley of Rome, GA; sister, Nancy Lee Lassiter of Marietta, GA and nieces, Dayna Wiley Hicks of Cumming, GA , Detra Wiley Pate and nephew, Dr. Daryl Wiley both of Thomson, GA. A graveside service to honor the life of Jimbo will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 29th at Westview Cemetery, Thomson with Dr. Daryl Wiley and Tony Pate officiating. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is honored to serve the family of James Edwin “Jimbo” Wiley.
