Obituary for James Harrison Alexander James H. Alexander was born on April 29, 1933, son of Mr. Joseph Dennis Alexander and Berlean Alexander in Charlotte, North Carolina. James received his formal education from West Charlotte High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He accepted Christ in his early 50s and was affiliated with Zion Primitive Baptist.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gambling. James H. Alexander departed this life on April 11, 2018 at his home. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dennis and Berlean Alexander; and his brothers, Frank, Dave, Alfred, Joseph, and Calvin Alexander.

James H. Alexander leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Sarah Alexander; eight children, Ella Mae Marshall, Calvin (Suzette), Ivey (Regina), Roger (Robinetta), Lundee (deceased), Walter, Damero, and Travis; 28 grandchild; 34 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Henrietta Byrd (Johnny) and Joe Louis Alexander (Mary); special niece, Berlean Alexander; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends, and a special thanks to Novant Hospital.
