James ”Jimmy” H. Marshall, 74, of Colonial Beach, VA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Jimmy married Tina Pate on November 10, 2005. He retired from the town of Colonial Beach.

Jimmy loved to work and his hobbies included gardening, fishing, playing checkers, exercising and he enjoyed long walks. He was a Christian man, and was a firm believer in following his faith, as an associated member of the Intercontinental Church of God. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Tina; two step-daughters, Jessica Mundie (Matthew), Savannah Shifflett; brothers, Robert, George, Danny, Jerry and Leslie; two grandchildren, Makayla and Matthew Jr. Mundie.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty; his parents, Robert and Josephine; and siblings Betty Jo, Joy, David and Richard. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 11 am to 12 noon at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, with funeral services beginning at 12 noon with Pastor Walker Gaulding officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
