James J. Cocker of Collingdale, Pennsylvania July 24, 1946 – November 15, 2018 Cocker 1946~2018 James “Jim” Cocker, Sr. passed away peacefully on November 15th at Crozier Keystone Hospice (Taylor Hospital) surrounded by family. Born in Chester, PA, and raised in Eddystone, PA, to the late Charles J. and Rita V. (nee Lynch) Cocker. Husband of the late Rose Cocker.

Father of the late Charles Cocker, and grandfather to the late Aubrey Cocker. Survived by his children, James J. Cocker, Jr. (Laura), Joseph Cocker (Jennifer), Christine Cocker-Hastings (Jeff), Step-Daughter Shauna Schreffler. Grandchildren, Joey, Dawn, AJ, Frank, Alyssa, Caitlyn, Brielle and Nathan.

Jim attended St. Rose of Lima school and Eddystone High School. Jim was a Corporal in The United States Marine Corps and proudly fought for his country in Vietnam. He was very active in the AA community, and he loved to help others.

Jim was a family man and adored his children and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Saturday, November 24th 10:00am-11:00am, with Memorial Service to follow 11am, at the Kaniefski, Kendus & Danjolell Memorial Home, 3900 W. 9th Street, Trainer, PA 19061. Inurnment Private.
