James J. Kubiak, 85, of New Cumberland, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 04, 2018, at the Carolyn Hospice House. He retired from Bethlehem Steel as a crane operator. He was also a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland for 42 years.

Born on October 28, 1933, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Martin and Blanche (Wyborska) Kubiak. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Therese L. Weaver of Enola; two brothers, Joseph Kubiak and Martin Kubiak both of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Katherine Mader and Betty Costa, both of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday, December 10, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, with the Rev.

Michael McFadden as Celebrant. Visitation with the family will follow immediately in the Little Flower Social Hall of the church.
