James’ Obituary James (Jim) Adair Vinson. , of Felton, PA, passed away peacefully at his daughters’ home on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Born in Franklin North Carolina, he was the son of the late John Baxter Vinson, Jr., and Dorothy Lorraine Vinson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard L. Vinson. Jim moved as a child with his family to Baltimore, MD at a young age, but he never forgot where his roots began. He loved spending time with his family in the Great Smokey Mountains of North Carolina.

Over the years, Jim enjoyed a lifetime career in electronics as a project manager, supervisor and sales manager. He was currently employed by Practical Technologies Inc, where he will be deeply missed by all. Jim is survived by his wife Cindy Ann Vinson of 18 years, who resides in their family home in Felton, PA.

He is also survived by his two children; Ronald James Vinson (married to Stacy Vinson) from Palm Harbor, FL and Tammy Lynn Vinson Schott (married to Anita Schott) from Baltimore, MD, from his first marriage to Wanda Y. Vinson and his granddaughters Sarah Rose Vinson, Gracie Ann Vinson and Jessica Lorraine Smith. He is also survived by his twin brother, John Douglas Vinson from Shrewsbury, PA and his younger sister, Susan Katherine Vinson from Franklin, NC, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at the CONNELLY FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Thursday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.

A service to celebrate James’ life will be held on Friday, 12 noon, at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
