OBITUARY James “Jim” Lee Boss Jr. June 27, 1941 – January 8, 2019 James “Jim” Lee Boss, Jr., 77, passed away on January 8, 2019 in Charlestown, IN. He was born June 27, 1941 in Louisville, KY to the late James and Nellie Boss and was a retired plumber/ pipefitter. Jim was a member of UA Local 502 Pipefitters, a Catholic by Faith, animal lover and an avid University of Kentucky fan.

In his younger years he was the lead singer for Jim Boss and the Sundowners. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Smalley (Rob), and Holly Hargett (Craig), brother, Floyd Boss (Hazel), granddaughters, Brooklyn and Jordyn Hargett, and Rylie and Carsyn Smalley. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
