James Clay “Jim” Middleton, 71, was called home by the Lord on November 28, 2018 at Barnes Hospital in St Louis, MO surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born March 26, 1947 in Borger, TX to George and Mary (White) Middleton. He served four honorable years in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era.

He became a Mason in 2002 and was very involved with many area Masonic Lodges. He was a life member of Hurst Lodge #1004, Galatia Lodge # 684, and Makanda Lodge #484. He was an honorary member of 29 area Masonic Lodges.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Twilla; son, Christopher; daughter, Lacie & Stacy Henson; two grandchildren (the apples of his eye) Brindle and Bristin Henson, two sisters, Dana & Dennis Klemp and Jennifer & Brett Barkey; brother Craig Middleton; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin McNeely officiating.

Masonic Rites and Shriner’s walkthrough will follow after the memorial service. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Makanda Lodge #484 Building Fund or to Children’s Dyslexia Center – So.
