James S. “Jimbo” Lunsford, 81 of Kimbolton, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 while in the care of the South Eastern Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. James was born in Kensington, Ohio on December 21, 1937 to John and Edith (Lawson) Lunsford. He worked as a Truck Driver.

Jim loved to go fishing and spend time with his line in the water. He attended the Called to Freedom Fellowship Church. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Marine Corps.

James is survived by his wife, Marie (McInturff) Lunsford; his children, Dana, Tim, Tammy, April, Theresa, Kelly; his step children Jenny, Kris, Gina and Pam; his sisters, Norma and Pat, a well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Charles. In keeping with his wishes, a caring cremation is entrusted to the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord.
