James John “Jimmy” DeKosta, age 72 of Douglasville, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018. He was born on April 27, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Steve DeKosta and the late Jane Savas DeKosta. Jimmy received a Bachelor’s of Political Science Degree at Northern Illinois University.

He was employed with Thornton Chevrolet as a car sales man for over 24 years. Jimmy was Greek Orthodox by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Cody Tyler Hawkins.
