Obituary for James L. Kennedy James L. Kennedy age 76 a resident of Cleveland passed away Wednesday May 23, 2018 in a local hospital. He was the son of the late Henry and Pauline Kennedy. James was a truck driver with over 37 years of service working for Lonas Construction Company as a dump truck driver.

In his teenage years, working for a peanut company in Chattanooga he was there peanut mascot. He was an avid bowler and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Carolyn Kennedy his step children Becky Grizzard and her husband Ken, Linda Brewer and her husband David, Nita Davis, Cheryl Hall, Ricky Byrd and Regina Byrd, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Maddox officiating. The interment will follow at Tasso United Methodist Cemetery.
