Obituary for James Lawrence Morgan James Lawrence Morgan, 57, of Arkansas City, AR passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. He was born February 19, 1961 to the late Jimmy Rogers Morgan and Helen Frances Newton Morgan. He was a longtime farmer.
He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and his mother. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. Other than his father he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Sue Farris Morgan and grandson Christian Holley.
Survivors include his mother Helen Morgan of Lake Village, AR; daughters, Lacey Morgan and Magon Morgan both of Arkansas City, AR; son, James Farris of Hope,AR; brothers, Billy Wayne Morgan and Jimmy Ray Morgan both of Greenville, MS; sisters, Mary Prescott of Lake Village, AR, Tina Stokes of Greenville, MS, Effie Woods of Greenville, MS, Carol Whittington of Lake Village, AR and Lula Lucille Morgan of Sunflower, MS. Five grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 P.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR.
