James Lawson Qualls May 19, 1924 – May 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card James Lawson Qualls, age 95, a Warren County, TN resident and Grundy County native was born May 19, 1924 and passed away May 24, 2019 at his residence following a sudden illness. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, retired farmer and son of the late James Hollis and Pearly Fults Qualls. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Cleta Whiles Qualls; daughter, Kimberly Fay Qualls; and brothers and sisters, Conova Qualls, Learah Qualls, Carrie Smartt, Clarrie Bailey, Clarence Qualls, Herman Qualls and Price Qualls.

Mr. Qualls is survived by sister, Inez Qualls of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in High’s Chapel with Anthony Campbell to officiate. Interment will follow in Morrison Cemetery with military grave rites conducted by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www. highfuneralhome.com High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
