James Leon Davis, Sr., 74 of Chickamauga, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019. He was a member of the American Legion Post #214. James proudly served his country in the United Sates Army and courageously served two tours in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Bonnie Yolky; first wife, Judy Davis, brother, Ernie Davis. Survivors include his loving wife, Juanita Denton Davis; son and daughter-in-law, James and Becky Davis, Jr.; two sisters, Debbie and Charlotte; grandsons, Gavin and Gunnar Thompson, several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at a later date.
