Obituary for James Lester Sellers James Lester Sellers, 83 of Moss Point, Mississippi passed from this life on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Moss Point. He was born March 25, 1935 in Brooklyn, Mississippi. Corporal Sellers was a distinguished veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Marine Corps based at Camp LeJuene, North Carolina.

After his first tour or duty in Korea, Corporal Sellers was recommended for reenlistment and received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Medal. After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, Mr. Sellers worked as a welder with Harrison Brothers Shipbuilding in Mobile, Alabama. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his garden, cooking and spending time with his family.

Mr. Sellers was preceded in death by his father and mother, James Vaster Sellers and Floye Oree Sloan; three brothers, Edward Lee Sellers, Doug Sellers and Robert Sellers; sister, Vivian McElroy; a grandson, James Gregory Sellers and Tracy Klockener. Survivors include his children, James Larry Sellers and wife Lorraine, Tony Sellers and wife Mary Jane, Greg Sellers and wife Connie, Jason Sellers and wife Jennifer, Megan Sellers, Devin Sellers and Cecily Colvin; sisters, Christine Hearn and husband Cliff, Diane Ferrer and husband Tommy and sister, Mary Tardy; brothers, Arnie Sellers, Kenny Sellers and wife Theresa; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 10:00 until 11:00am at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00am from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Sellers officiating. A graveside service will follow at 1:30pm from Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi.

Family and friends should arrive at the cemetery pavilion in Biloxi by 1:15pm. Friends and family may share condolences at www. holderwellsfuneralhome.com.
