OBITUARY James M Burton April 26, 1942 – September 21, 2018 James “Jim” M. Burton, 76, of Kansas City, MO passed away September 21, 2018. Jim was born April 26, 1942 in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from East High School and the Culinary Institute at Yale.

Jim worked in food & Hotel Management and was a salesman for various food distribution companies. He was also a regional sales manager for Nordent/Lasco dental instruments. Jim was an Eagle Scout and a member of Faubion UMC for 45 years.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents C. Wayne and Ethel (Noland) Burton and a brother Wayne D. Burton. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Carol (Brewer) Burton; daughter Debora (Dan) Compton; grandchildren Cory Smith, Michael Keeney, Daniel (Brooke) Compton and MaDonna (Antonio) Gross, great grandchildren Brooklyn, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Daniel, Isabelle and 2 nieces. Service 11:00am Monday White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Family suggests memorial gifts to Faubion United Methodist Church.
