James Peterkin, Jr. February 4, 1943 – December 18, 2018 Mr. James Peterkin, Jr. age 75 of 107 Birch Circle, Raeford, NC passed on Tuesday, December 18 at First Health Hospice of Pinehurst, NC. He was the son of the late Mr. John James Peterkin and Mrs. Preppra Peterkin. He is survived by his children, Pastor Kenneth L. Peterkin, Du’Boris James (Zalestra) Peterkin, Van-Boris Peterkin and Darryl Lloyd; sisters, Shirley (Earnest) Perry, Hazel (Kevin) Ware, Iris Peterkin; brothers, Terry (Natalie) Peterkin, Billy (Betty)Peterkin, Lonnie (Robin) Peterkin, James Peterkin, Glenn (Annie) Peterkin; and Hubert (Della) Peterkin; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, December 22, 2018 from the Rockfish Grove FWB Church, 472 Turnpike Road, Raeford, NC 28376. The family visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 pm until 1:00 pm at the church and other times at Buie Funeral home Chapel, 543 Vass Road, Raeford, NC 27376 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 pm Friday, December 23, 2018.
