James R. Bradshaw, 63, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2018. He was born February 9, 1955, in Chicago to Frank and Katherine Bradshaw. Jim graduated from Manchester High School in 1973 and then earned his Chemical Engineering Degree from the University of Akron.

He and his late partner, Rich Booth, founded Allen Randall Enterprises Inc. in 1988 and he was an active member of the National Tooling & Machining Association. Jim enjoyed life on the Portage Lakes and was an avid sailor, boater, and fisherman. He was a member of the South Shore and Turkeyfoot Yacht Clubs where he sailed his National One Design.

Jim was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Gloria Bradshaw. He is survived by his wife of nearly 28 years, Christine; daughter, Meg King; mother, Katherine; brothers, Frank, John, Tom, and Dan; sister, Cathy Watkins; and grandchildren, Erin and Ryan King. Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd.

on Friday, June 15, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, where a memorial service will be held at Noon, Pastor Bud Couts officiating. In lieu of flowers, you can honor Jim’s appreciation of the arts by making a donation to the museum of your choice.
