Beloved husband of 65 years to Patricia. Loving father of Patrick (Elizabeth), Celeste Leach, Catherine (Tom) Willger, James (Laurie), Chris (Sue), Mari (Louie) Pecci, the late Kevin and the late Earl. Also loving father in law to Angie Poirier and the late Jim Leach.

Dear brother of Delard (Josette), the late Patricia Hagen, the late Richard, the late Peter, and the late Paul. Brother in law to JoAnne Poirier and Teresa Poirier. Cherished grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 6.

Jim was the former owner of Czopek Funeral Directors and Kernan Funeral Service for many years. He also was involved with the Wyandotte Lions Club, 3rd Degree K of C member at Fr. Saylor Council, 4th Degree K of C member at Van Antwerp Assembly and a member of Our Lady of Angels Usher’s Club.
