OBITUARY James Richard Antisdel April 27, 1956 – January 5, 2019 James Richard Antisdel, 62 y/o, died unexpectedly Friday January 4, 2019, in Merritt Island, Florida. James was born April 27, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Robert and Francis ( Petri) Antisdel. He attended Marquette Law School in Milwaukee, WI and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Il.

Dr. Antisdel did his residency in Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Hanover, NH. He practiced as a psychiatrist in private practice in Manchester, NH for 25 years before moving to Florida. He will be missed for his incredible love of his children and grand child, his love of animals ( especially Sammy), his infectious laugh, his interest in research investments, his deep sense of joy in the garden, his ongoing battle with black flies ( despite protective mesh), as well as his amazing wealth of knowledge.

He could talk to anyone about anything. He always enjoyed golfing with his brother, Bob, and best friend, Larry Bass. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and a few special friends such as Karen Taylor.

Dr. Antisdel is survived by his ex-wife, Dr. Lynn Paulus of Littleton, CO, his son, Taylor P. Antisdel of Brooklyn, NY, his daughter, Caitlin P. Randle of Golden, CO and his beloved grandson, Kael R. Randle of Golden, CO. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Lemmer of Scottsdale, Az, his brother, Dr. Robert Antisdel and sister-law, Dr. Carol Antisdel of Cedarburg, WI, his brother, Dr. Thomas Antisdel and sister-in-law, Holly Antisdel of Bedford, NH and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Parish, Grafton, WI, on Saturday, January 19 at 1:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 pm.
