James Robert Beveridge was born on March 31, 1939 in Steubenville, Ohio to John and Margaret (Whitten) Beveridge. James passed away on March 21, 2019 at his home surrounded by his sweet family at the age of 79. James graduated from high school and later served his Country in the United States Air Force for 8 years until his Honorable Discharge.

He married Pauline Baker in October 1960 and they were truly blessed with 58 years together. James worked in California as a mechanic and after his retirement and he and Pauline moved to Bryan County 5 years ago. He enjoyed painting, cars, NASCAR, fishing and being in the outdoors.

He great joy in life was his family and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Alvin Beveridge; brothers, Tom and Jack; sisters, Margie and her husband Richard and Mary. James is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Pauline of the home; daughters, Delpha Kerr, Robin Beveridge and Patricia Smith and husband Russell; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Pat, Dorothy and Sandy and numerous extended family and friends.
