Obituary for James Scaffe James Wesley Scaffe, age 88 of Conyers, died Thursday, July 19, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Scaffe and Rosalie Cross; brother, Joseph Scaffe. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Belle Scaffe; children, Becky and Mike Hazeltine, Debbie and Alan Whigham, Wesley and Joann Scaffe, Racheal and Jimmy Patterson, Miriam Kerbow, Davey and Cindy Scaffe; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Lois Scaffe.

Mr. Scaffe served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 33 years. He loved his family, helping people and his favorite past time was working on his farm.

James was a member of Zingara Lodge #519 for over 56 years. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel; interment will follow at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
