Obituary for James Stanley Phillips Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens, 103 Sullivan Kilrain Road in Hattiesburg, MS for James Stanley (Jimmy) Phillips, age 56, who passed away on November 30, 2018 in Hattiesburg. Mr. Phillips was retired from Chevron Oil company. He was a 1980 graduate of Oak Grove High School.

In Jimmy’s younger days, he loved to ride bulls and work with horses and cows. He was kindhearted, loved to help people and was able to continue to help others through the donation of his organs. Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Stanley Phillips and Edna Stuart Phillips.

Jimmy is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jimmie Lou and Don Polk of Hattiesburg; sisters Pam (Greg) Gibbs of Hattiesburg, Mary (Clark) Stuart of McHenry, and Tanya Phillips of Hattiesburg, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
