James “Stoney” Stone, 65, of Wooster, died Saturday March 16, 2019 at his residence. There will be no services. Online tributes may be made at www.

RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 761 Wooster, Ohio 44691. Stoney was born November 2, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to LeRoy and June {Pohl} Stone.

He graduated from Wooster High School in 1971. Stoney lived in Louisiana for most of his life. He worked as a mechanic and in construction, before moving back to Wooster.

Stoney enjoyed reading and woodworking. He also was a fan of the New Orleans Saints. Stoney will be deeply missed by his daughter Jessica Stone of Wooster; granddaughter Kelsie Himes; brother Thomas (Joan) Stone of CA; sisters Pat (Zach Logan) Wohlgamuth of Wooster, Ruthann (Ronnie) Mayle of Marshallville; good friend Susan Zampi.

Stoney was preceded in death by his parents, niece Amy Wohlgamuth and brother-in-law Dwight Wohlgamuth.
