Tommy Henley Sylva, NC– Mr. James Thomas “Tommy” Henley, Jr., 72, formerly of Washington, GA entered into rest March 19, 2019. Mr. Henley was born in Mayfield, Kentucky to the late James Thomas Henley, Sr. and the late Irene Brooks Thomas. He served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam.

He lived in Lincolnton and Washington, GA for many years and was retired as a sewing machine mechanic. He was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed fishing and camping. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Morefield Henley; daughter, Anna Marie Johnson (Bill); sons, Jerry Henley and Thomas Wayne Henley; brother, Dewayne Henley; sister, Carol Henley and grandchildren, Leanna Bjorklund, Matthew Johnson and Maddison Johnson.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Resthaven Cemetery Washington, GA with Pastor Glenn Hendley officiating. Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd.
