Warren Age 84 Jim Warren died December 20, 2018 in his Roseville, Minnesota home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 31, 1934 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Clarence and Florence (MacNeil) Warren. Jim graduated from St. Paul Central High School in 1952 and soon after enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served during the Korean War.

He married Eileen McCann on February 20, 1960 and soon started a family. Jim was an avid sports fan, particularly fond of the Minnesota Gophers, Twins, and Vikings. More than anything else, though, he enjoyed spending time with his family and taking interest in his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities.

He spent the majority of his professional career in the food safety industry with Armour Foods and later ConAgra Foods. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Eileen (McCann); children Kevin (Julie Koester) Warren of North Aurora, Illinois, Kari (Don) Solis of Edgewood, California, Sean (Deb Wager) Warren of Mounds View, Minnesota, Shaween (Tom) Lawrence of Roseville, Minnesota, and Robert Warren of Woodland, California; six grandchildren and one granddaughter-in-law; one expectant great grandchild; cousin Paula (Tom) Kenskauskas of Sun City West, Arizona; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Francis Joseph McCann of St. Paul, Minnesota and sister-in-law Eleanor (McCann) Peterson of St. Paul, Minnesota. Services will be Friday, December 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2048 Hamline Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery SERVICES Mass of Christian Burial Friday, December 28, 2018 10:00 AM St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church 2048 Hamline Ave.
