James William “Bill” Mudd, 84, of Fredericktown, died Friday, December 14, 2018 at Windsor Gardens. He was born December 7, 1934 in Louisville. He was a retired advertising manager for the Kentucky Standard and the Harrodsburg Herald, a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Kentucky Colonials.

He sang with Holy Trinity and Harrodsburg Choirs. Bill loved playing the trumpet, music, and enjoyed the outdoors with all his family, friends and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Mudd; parents, Borgia and Louise Mudd; and brother, James Mudd.

He is survived by his four children, Jerome (Carol) Mudd of Boston, Michael Mudd and Charlie (Laura) Mudd both of Fredericktown, and Charlene (Eddie Smith) Mudd of Bardstown; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Ann “Dot” Mudd of Bardstown. His memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Rev.

Ben Brown will officiate. Memorial contributions may go to Masses.
