He is preceded in death by his son, James William Dorsey, V. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Gayle Dorsey of Prattville, AL; one daughter, Shannon Dorsey Thomas (Richard) of Prattville, AL; and seven grandchildren, Lacey Dorsey, Braxton Dorsey, Jarred Burnett, Gavin Dorsey, Grayson Dorsey, Kacee Burnett and Skyler Thomas. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation to be held one hour prior to memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home directing.
