JAMES ZABELSKY (5521) age 80, of Duquesne, on January 9, 2019. He was a son of the late Leo and Viola (Wrobleski) Zabelsky. Jim started his career in transportation with Duquesne Motor Coach, then Bamford Bus Company, and retiring as a supervisor from the Port Authority of Allegheny County.

He was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne- West Mifflin Knights of Columbus Council #4210. Jim enjoyed golfing, bowling, skee ball, traveling, and going to restaurants. Beloved husband of Paula (Ametz) Zabelsky for 59 years; father of Jamie (Eric) Mattson of Duquesne, Terri Jo (Martin) Schorr of White Oak; grandfather of Jim Schorr and Hannah Schorr; brother of Mary Lou Zabelsky of Duquesne, Leona (Frank) Sprentz of McKeesport, and the late Leo E. Zabelsky and his surviving spouse, LaVon Zabelsky of Duquesne; also nieces and nephews.

Visitation Saturday and Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY- SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME , 15 Kennedy Ave. , Duquesne, (412) 466-3300, where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Hedwig Church of Christ the Light of the World Parish at 10 a.m., Rev. Thomas Lewandowski officiating.
