Obituary of James Hammond Mr. James Spencer Hammond, age 88, of Pikesville, transitioned Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, MD. Mr. Hammond was born July 30, 1930 in St. Augustine, Florida. He married the late Mrs. Constance Singleton Hammond.

He was in Educator in the Baltimore City Public School System. A musical will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1316 Park Avenue, Baltimore, MD (21217). A Memorial Service/Life Celebration will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1316 Park Avenue, Baltimore, MD (21217).

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12 noon with the celebration to follow. The inurnment will be private.
