Jamie Lynn Fitzgerald tragically passed on March 18 th , 2019 at the age of 59. Over the years, she had multiple complications from Crohn’s Disease. She was born July, 19th 1959 in Cheverly, MD and the youngest of five sisters.

The baby girl of proud parents James and Sylvia (Naylor) Fitzgerald. After graduating high school, Jamie studied cosmetology and became a hairdresser. Later, she became a school crossing guard.

After that, she was a building security officer for the Sherriff’s Department for 14 years. She was married for 16 years and had one son whom she adored. Jamie loved traveling, hiking, fishing and furry animals of all types.

She was always up for a trip to the beach or trying a new restaurant. When at home, she could be found in her garden or curled up with her beloved cats. She recently returned from a trip to Italy with family and fondly remembered the gorgeous sights and delicious food.

She was a beautiful, adventurous, and outspoken person who was truly loved and will be sorely missed. Jamie is survived by her son Chris Mitchell and sisters Jennifer Fitzgerald Hurlock, Pat Neagle (Husband Jim), and Susan Zook (Husband Tom). Also left behind are numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her cherished cats Cooper, Joey, and Sylvester.
