Jane Hisle Hohman passed away at her home in Pasadena on June 27, 2018, at the age of 86, after having a well lived life. Her final days were spent surrounded by the family she loved. Jane was a graduate of Western Maryland College (now McDaniel’s College) where she met her husband Elmer A. Hohman, Jr who predeceased her.

At the time of his death, they had been married for 55 years. She is survived by her four children: Elmer (Dutch) Hohman III, Kathe Kane, Kurt Hohman and Kimberly Rausch as well as 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. As well as the great love she had for her family, she was a lover of the Redskins, the beach, a good book and an afternoon beer.

She was an active community volunteer after her retirement. Her ashes will be interred at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie next to her husband and grandson. A celebration of Jane’s life will be held on July 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the church she loved and was an active member in for over fifty years, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 7859 Tick Neck Road, Pasadena, MD.
