Mary Jane Johnson Hunt Thomson, GA – Mary Jane J. Hunt, 85, the wife of the late Fay Harris Hunt, entered into rest October 25, 2018 at home with family. She was born in Warren County to the late John Alvin Johnson and the late Beaulah Rabun Johnson. She worked at Thomson Company, Uniroyal, Stapleton Company, and retired from Hunt’s Daycare.

She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church and a member of the Thomson Lioness Club where she received the Melvin Jones Award. Mrs. Hunt is survived by her son, James Barry Hunt; sister, Zuline J. Wille; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Mildred J. Hart, and brothers, Denton L. Johnson, Jack Johnson, and Douglas Johnson.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Macedonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Mickey Moss officiating.

Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be John Allen Johnson, Denton L. Johnson, Jr., Thomas H. Wille, Matthew DeLoach, Bob Rabun III, Greg Lamb, and Jeffrey Marsh. Memorial contributions may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church.
