Jane O. Clemens, 92, of Berlin CT, joined her husband Robert (Bob) Clemens, son Paul and daughter Gail in heaven on December 29, 2018. Born March 8, 1926 to the late James and Theresa Flanigan Oliver of Hartford, Jane was preceded by her brother James Oliver. Jane leaves her children, Mark Clemens, Beth & Peter Campanelli, Ruth & David Sturgeon, Judy & George Procko, Neal Clemens, and Dean & Donna Clemens.

Grandchildren Nicole & Marco Barbagallo, Kelly & Kevin Kinney, Mitchel & Samantha Sturgeon, Jessica Sturgeon, Abigail, Haley and Megan Procko, Samantha Clemens, and Evan & Lauren Clemens. Great grandchildren, Logan & Rian Kinney, Hazel & Alyssa Vega and Harmony Garcia many nieces and nephews along with dear friends Lucy, Susan, & Maureen, and many caring neighbors. Jane graduated from Buckley High, Hartford, CT in 1944.

Jane moved to Berlin in 1960, where she raised her 8 children. Jane & Bob built their dream home in Rhode Island, where they spent many wonderful years together with family and friends. Jane developed a love for travel which took her all over the USA and beyond with her friend Lucy.

Jane worked in the Berlin school system and later the CT Lottery before retiring. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in East Berlin. Family and friends are welcome to call on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 2PM – 5PM at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Kensington.

Everyone is invited to go directly to Sacred Heart Church, 48 Cottage Street, East Berlin for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM, Monday, January 7, 2019. Burial will follow at Maple Cemetery, 1165 Worthington Ridge, Berlin. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Jane’s name.
