Marie “Jane” (Fultz) Shank MARCH 12, 1941 ~ FEBRUARY 22, 2019 (AGE 77) Marie “Jane” Shank, 77, of Overland Park, KS passed away Friday evening February 22, 2019 at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO surrounded by her loving family. Visitation for Jane will be Thursday afternoon February 28 from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Johnson County Funeral Chapel. Service for Jane will follow the visitation at 2 P.M. and burial will follow service in Memorial Gardens.

Jane Shank was born March 12, 1941 in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of Russell and Colista Fultz, raised by Thomas and Laura Kynor. She graduated from McKeesport High School. Jane met her husband Charles while they both worked for G.C. Murphy Co. in McKeesport, PA.

and were married on October 31st, 1962 in Clovis, NM. Jane had a love for traveling, camping and priceless talent for quilting. Jane and Charles spent many hours traveling and one fond memory was they met Willie Nelson in a campground and spent time singing “On The Road Again” with Willie.

In her spare time, she loved quilting and took it to the next level, where she opened her own business with her daughter, Colista. She was able to share her talents with many customers around the United Sates. Most of all she loved her family and couldn’t wait for them to come visit.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Shank, Parents, Russell and Colista Fultz, Thomas and Laura Kynor, Sister, Colista “Joy” Phillips, Brothers, Russell Fultz and Thomas A. Kynor and special niece, Grace M. See. She is survived by her children: Cathy Shank-Lawson (Donnie) of Freeman, MO, Colista Antwiler (Charles) of Overland Park, KS, and Michael Shank of Florida. Also surviving are her brothers, Robert Fultz (Sue) of Biloxi, MS, and Gary Kynor (Denny) of Versailles, PA, sister-in-law, Leona Fultz of Alexandria, VA.

She will be missed by her grandchildren, Brian (Amber), Allan (Kaitlyn), Robert (Alison), Colista Marie, Faith, Christen and nine great-grandchildren. Her loving niece, who she called her third daughter, Laura Burnett (Bill) and multiple nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions are suggested to Kansas City Hospice House at www.
