She is survived by her husband, Walter L. Simonds; children, Lance M. (Leianne) Simonds of McDonough, Carolynann Cody of Palmetto, Kelly (Chris) Sims of Newnan; siblings, Betty (John) Percefull of Snellville, Jean Hogan Walton of Snellville; grandchildren, Savannah (Jonathan) Sewell, Zack Sims, Connor Cody, Lydia Simonds, Luke Simonds, Nick Sims, and Sophie Simonds. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Palmetto Baptist Church in Palmetto, GA.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM the day of the service at the church. Lance Simonds and Connor Cody will officiate. Interment will be at 1 PM on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Crestlawn Cemetery in Copperhill, TN.
