DATELINE: KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Janelle Conner Whisnant Janelle Conner Whisnant, 77, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on December 08, 2018 at her home in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Rutherford County, NC, to the late Ralph Conner and Lillie Mae Sisk Conner and was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Jay Stewart and her second husband, Albert Whisnant. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Donald Conner.

Janelle attended the Family Worship Center for many years and retired from Sara Lee after many years of service in the textile industry. She loved flower gardening and spending time with her family. Janelle was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed dearly by her friends and loved ones.

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Karen Thomas, Amy Camp and husband, Donnie, and Crystal Skinner and husband Stephen, all of Kings Mountain, NC Grandchildren: Michael Chastain, Alex Carson, Dustin Skinner, Kelsi Skinner and Dillon Thomas Brother: Aaron Conner and wife Annie Ruth, Kings Mountain, NC Sister in law: Betty Conner, Kings Mountain, NC FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Kings Mountain, NC with Pastor Mike Fraizer officiating VISITATION: Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC GUEST REGISTER AVAILABLE AT WWW.
