She made friends and was the first homecoming queen that Loveland High School had, June was also Larimer County Rodeo Queen and was active in numerous clubs and student council. June went to CSU for one year as her parents moved to Wiggins, CO, there June met and married Donald Hobbs in 1953. June has been grateful for the presence of Jana & Steve in their adult lives, both living in the Denver Metro area and being attentive to their mother, especially grateful to Jana for staying close in touch for their Thursday lunches and “talks” and to Steve for letting us stay with him for some summer months when our house was being finished, and for them both making the holidays special.

June met Dave DeLorenzo in 2002 and they married in 2003. They bought an home in Erie, CO, they travelled a lot, going on five cruises- Carribean, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, New York to Montreal to Italy and Branson, MO.
